Drag & drop

Any type of file can be stored in eRoom. These files, or even entire directories, can be uploaded or downloaded using drag & drop. eRoom elements can also be moved around within the software using drag & drop.

Version control

When version control is active, a new file version is created automatically as soon as changes are made to the file.

Access control

Access rights in eRoom are managed at different levels. Access can be set for every single element within a room.

Telegrams

In order to inform users about changes and new features, each element can send a telegram via e-mail to any members of a room. A link takes the user directly to the element they want.

Notifications

The system automatically informs all users about changes in their work areas, once every night, via e-mail. Furthermore, change notifications can be set for individual elements.

Unread flags

New and changed elements are automatically displayed as unread.

Intercom

A simple chat function for members of a room.

Search

Finds keywords in titles, descriptions, Office documents (Word, Excel PowerPoint, etc.), and PDF documents. A search query can be conducted for all rooms or within just one room.

Online help can be reached from any eRoom page. In addition, help is shown in context.
